PRAA SANDS
Coasteering Adventures and Surf School at Praa Sands Beach, Cornwall.
Praa Sands Beach is located between the traditional fishing towns of Penzance and Helston. This stretch of Cornwall’s coastline is famous for its mining heritage with several old mining houses still sitting proudly across the rugged landscape.
Home to both Coasteering Adventures and our Surf School Global Boarders. Praa Sands is the perfect destination for water sport enthusiasts. The coasteering routes at Praa Sands are highly regarded as some of the best in Cornwall. The routes have everything from 30ft jumps, underwater caves, wave pools and one of Cornwall’s longest rock gullies. A stone’s throw from our coasteering route you can find the soft white sands of Praa Sands beach where we run our Surf School from. As Praa Sands only Surf School operator we specialise in small groups with perfect waves for beginners at low tide and more advanced waves for our improvers at high.
Praa Sands has a great selection of local amenities including a daily lifeguard service (10am – 6pm), two beach cafes, bar / restaurant, local store, public toilets and a large car park.
